We are now approximately half-way through our series of 7 public meetings
for the Development Plans (pre-draft stage). To date we have held meetings
in Kilkenny City, Thomastown and Callan. The presentations for all of
these meetings are now available as videos on our homepage at

The next meeting is taking place in Castlecomer Community Hall, on
Wednesday the 11th July at 7.30pm. Details of all the meetings are

The Castlecomer meeting will focus on the topic of Heritage, and our guest
speaker will be Dearbhala Ledwidge, Heritage Officer with Kilkenny Local
Authorities. If you are interested in that topic, or in development in the
county in general, please come along.
As a registered user, you will receive regular updates as the two year
development plan process moves along. We encourage you to ask other
friends/neighbours etc. to sign up so that they too can become involved and
participate in planning for our future.
